CJW Program: Community Organization Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in the Community Justice Workers of Texas (CJW) Program. This statewide initiative expands access to legal information and community resources by training trusted community members to serve as Community Justice Workers.
Community Partner Organizations (CPOs) play a key role in the program by:- Recruiting and supporting CJWs from within their communities
- Partnering with Legal Aid Organizations (LAOs)
CJWs will be trained to share legal information and connect people to resources on common issues. Some topics that may be available in your area are SNAP Benefits, Child Find Violations, Dual Eligibility of Medicare/Medicaid, Social Security initial application, and Credit Repair.
If your organization would like to explore becoming a CPO, please complete this form. Submitting the form is only an initial step—it does not obligate your organization to participate and does not guarantee approval as a partner Community Partner Organization. Because the program is launching in phases, space is limited as we ramp up."*" indicates required fields
