The Importance of Voting in the Disability Community

This online Lunch and Learn from the Texas Rehabilitation Association (TRA) will cover the importance of voting for people with disabilities. Attendees will learn about:
- the background and history of voting rights and the Help America Vote Act,
- why voting matters for individuals with disabilities,
- the role of vocational rehabilitation (VR) and voter registration, and
- Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.
DRTx’s Molly Broadway, LMSW, will be the presenter.
