Housing Discrimination Complaint Generator

If you believe your housing rights have been violated, you are encouraged to report housing discrimination to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Because there are time limits on when a violation can be filed with HUD, you should report housing discrimination as soon as possible.

You can use this form no matter what state you live in. When you complete the form below, you will get a copy of the completed form and instructions for how to submit it to HUD.

To create your complaint, follow these steps:
  1. Complete the form below
  2. Click the "Create my complaint" button
  3. You will be taken to a new page that has a PDF of your complaint
  4. Download or print the PDF of your complaint
  5. Submit your complaint to HUD

Please note: this generator will not submit your complaint to HUD. You must download or print the complaint and submit it to HUD.
