Houston region to host inaugural clinic for people with disabilities May 4

“Residents who need assistance preparing for disaster are invited to a special clinic hosted by a group of preparedness organizations. Partners from across the Houston and Harris County region will sponsor a Disaster Readiness and Resilience Clinic (DRRC) to help people with [disabilities] prepare for emergencies.

The clinic is set from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 4, at the Metropolitan Multi-Service Center, 1475 West Gray. It will offer a range of services and resources designed to empower vulnerable people to better plan for and navigate through disasters.”
