Protecting vulnerable citizens who live in state facilities

DRTx regular monitors and investigates state-run facilities where people with disabilities live to ensure they are not being abused or neglected. Our agency is one of the primary watchdogs in our state that works to protect vulnerable people who live in congregate care settings.

One family member of a person who resides in one of these facilities had this to say:

“My family benefited greatly from the services provided over the years of one of your attorneys. Our son who lives at a state supported living center had the best care from your attorney that a parent/guardian could ask for. We are so thankful that she played a great roll in our lives, especially to our disabled son.” – Alice
