When people contact us, they don’t always just need our assistance once. Often they seek our help multiple times over a span of years. Solomon is one of those clients.
When he was 4 years old, Solomon’s mom reached out to Disability Rights Texas (DRTx) for help regarding the denial of critical in-home medical equipment her son needed. With our assistance, the denial was overturned and he was able to receive the equipment he needed. A few years later, Solomon’s mom contacted us again because private duty nursing hours that were once approved were denied. DRTx was able to assist in getting those vital nursing hours reinstated so Solomon could receive the care he needed.
